What type of glue to use for clear parts of plane model?
I'm building my first model plane (P-51D Mustang), and am going to be gluing the cockpit windows soon. They are made out of hard, clear plastic; and the instruction manual says that I should only use a "water-based glue" on clear parts. The glue I've been using until now is a clear cement for plastic models (small, red-colored tube), but I have a feeling that I should use something else for the cockpit windows. My dad says that basic elementary school white glue from a bottle is fine (it's water-based, right?), but I'm not sure.
You can certainly use white glue but if you don't have any handy, look for this:

The nozzle works fine and will greatly increase your control of the amount of glue supplied
