why does my new kero heater stink of kero?

i bought a new model kero heater thats meant to be no kero smell etc, the problem is it stinks out the house ith the smell still, is there a no odor kero out there?

Are you using K1 CLEAR kerosene ? If it's red ? drain it out or burn it off and only run K1 clear in the unit, K1 does not produce odor. The unit is NEW, so Did you let the Kero soak first before lighting the unit ? it must soak for 30 minutes to saturate the wick properly.. ?
